We believe that healthy, balanced diets lead to healthy, balanced lives – and that fresh, wholesome foods can and should be delicious. Fresh Takes Kitchen is committed to preparing wholesome, delicious meals that help our customers get more from dinnertime, and more from their lives. Our meals are:
- Real – made with natural, whole ingredients – freshly prepared in a local kitchen by professional chefs
- Simple – using widely accessible ingredients so customers can recreate their favorite meals at home
- Vibrant – with a colorful mix of wholesome ingredients, to ensure that meals are naturally chock full of a variety of nutrients
- Nourishing – satisfying dinner portions that are filling enough to replenish our customers’ energy after a long day and keep them fueled until breakfast the following morning

Nutritional Framework
Our primary nutritional goal is to help customers significantly increase their weekly dose of colorful vegetables, protein, and other important vitamins and nutrients, while simultaneously decreasing consumption of processed, empty calories.
Fresh Takes Kitchen meals are made with an abundance of lean proteins, fresh produce and whole grains, and are designed to meet or exceed the USDA’s standard dietary guidelines. All Fresh Takes meals are created to:

- Provide 500 – 600 calories per adult serving
- Contain 15-30% of their calories from fat, with minimal saturated fat
- Contain less than 800mg of sodium
- Include at least 2oz of whole grains and approximately 30gm of protein
- Contain at least two different types of vegetables, with an emphasis on leafy greens, red and orange varieties, and legumes – powerful, nutritious ingredients that many Americans are under-consuming
- Be rich with fiber, potassium and many disease preventing vitamins
